This is an important inside secret I like to bounce back to from time to time because it’s really simple and powerful. Pizza Slice

If you’re an author, speaker, coach or marketing pro—you need to generate a lot of marketing content to keep your message in front of your crowd. And I really hope a lot of the copywriting techniques I’ve been busting out are helping you.

However, I realize that a lot of you find it challenging to make the time to actually write all the promotional content you need. My solution is simple. Take what I call the Pizza Slice approach to sales writing.

If you have several marketing pieces to create, don’t approach this task from the viewpoint that you have a lot of writing to do. You will immediately feel overwhelmed and freeze up.

Instead of putting pressure on yourself, find a 20-minute “slice of time” once or twice a day to dedicate to your writing. Maybe it’s first thing in the morning or the first 20 minutes after your lunch break—or maybe it’s the last 20 minutes of your day.

Just pick one or two 20-minute slices of time each day that work for you.

During each 20-minute slice go all out with your writing. No phone calls, no texting, no goofing off! Stay focused and give it all you got for 20 minutes and then get back to your other tasks.

In just 10 days my Pizza Slice approach adds up to 200 minutes of writing. Make time for two slices a day and 10 days yields 400 minutes of marketing content.

You’ll be surprised how much work you can get done using my 20-minute Pizza Slice approach. It doesn’t taste as good as real pizza, but over a 10-day span the results really pile up. It’s painless, highly productive and it can be a lot of fun.

So what are you waiting for?

If you take action and start writing in 20-minute slices today, in three weeks that blog, sales letter and web site copy will go from your to-do list to generating revenue for your business.

If you got a knowledge boost from this post I encourage you to share it with your crowd!
